a GREAT weekend

Well family it was so much fun seeing all of you on Saturday! This was really a GREAT weekend. WE drove up LATE Friday night to Grandma Stiers' house (got there about midnight). Haiden was up 'til about 1:30 but slept fine once she got to sleep. We figured she'd sleep in the car too, but we were wrong. She talked and giggled up until OLYMPIA! Sheish kid - go to sleep! At least she was happy!
Anyhow, we woke up Saturday and went to 5 mile lake to enjoy a day with family and food. We had such a nice time, got sung to by cousin Doni, introduced Haiden to a slu of family members that she had not met before, ate, and visited family that hadn't seen here since she was 3 days old. It really was a fun time. It made me realize how much I miss seeing that side of the family. (my mom's side)
THEN we drove downtown and took Haiden to her first Mariners game. GO M'S! Unfortunately they lost....BAD. But we still had fun, Haiden did great. She stayed up till the 8th Inning (past 10pm) We got to see Jason's Uncle Paul and cousin Chris. Haiden impressed the other fans as she sported her new hat and cheered happily in her own baby languge. It was a fun night.
It was free Ichiro t-shirt night! the first 15k fans got one. Haiden got her very own one too (mens size XL!)

Watching baseball is tiring...NOT boring as some would say!
We ended the weekend with our traditional french toast breakfast at Gma & Gpas and then headed back home...stopping for a break at Cabelas. It was a wonderful weekend. We had such a great time with family and we'll need to do it again. I've got a little Mariners fan to raise! Thanks family for those who came...we'll see you around Thanksgiving!
