In a big fat nutshell. Christmas was hard. The hardest we've had yet. I had expectations higher than i should have and i let it get to me.

The hard Christmas opened our eyes though to things that needed to be changed in us and how we react. Now that it's the 8th, after visiting with a friend, I feel like my eyes and heart have been opened to what God has for me and I'm excited vs. fearful. I'm happy vs. depressed. Nothing has changed. Circumstances are the same, but I'm looking at my life through God's perspective and looking to HIM to see who I AM. It feels good. I hope for good things this year.
