I survived my first trip away from Haiden. I think I fared better than Jason did. Haiden was a tad cranky while I was gone. I'd like to think it was because I wasn't there; I think some of it had to do with her teething. We all managed to survive. My 4 days spent in Washington DC were long, full of work and 1 night of play. On Thursday night I got to go on a DC Lights tour where we took a 3 hour bus ride, getting on and off at different monuments and landmarks around the city. It was fun, wet, and worth it!
Anyway, I'm so glad to be home - and ready to celebrate Jason's birthday...even if it is a day late.
